Iain Duguid - a profile
In
living his life, Iain has flown in the Royal
Australian Air Force, raced and rallied sports
cars, grown wine grapes, run a guest house and a
B&B, sailed competitively, climbed
Australia’s mountains and explored the
continent from Cape York in the far north to the
southern tip of Tasmania.
As
a marketer, he has been awarded the dual honours
of Fellow of the Australian
Institute
of Management and Fellow
of the Australian Marketing Institute.
In his youth, he achieved
the Queen’s Scout
award.
His
corporate career has encompassed marketing and
management positions in the areas of consumer
packaged goods, financial services, industrial
products and the travel/tourism industry. Having
run his own marketing consultancy and several
successful businesses, he is ideally placed to
help others grow the marketing side of their
business.
In recent
years, his interests have expanded into the
fields of longevity, personal growth, not
retiring, life/work balance, marketing to mature
aged people and what makes men tick. He has
researched these fields through reading,
attending conventions and lectures and,
importantly, via the wealth of the Internet. As a
result, his presentations sparkle with
up-to-date, hands-on action for participants to
take away and create life-changing results.
He now
concentrates on his professional speaking
business with the mission of helping
people examine the balance in their lives.
